Todd Shalom is a licensed psychotherapist based in New York whose path to clinical work grew out of longstanding involvement in the arts.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University and later completed an MFA in writing at the California College of the Arts. He went on to found Elastic City, a performance nonprofit focused on participatory, site-responsive work. He subsequently trained in psychotherapy in New York, completing a Master of Social Work at Hunter College and extensive post-graduate training in Gestalt therapy, along with additional study in somatic and relational approaches.
